As you might remember from our discussion last week, with the v2026 runtime being in Kusama [a bug](https://kusama.polkassembly.io/post/356) that caused immature slashing of candidacy bonds in council was fixed, and now's the time to proceed with refunding affected accounts. Thank you to all Council members who gave feedback on the best path forward!

[Motion 239] aims to reimburse candidates and runners up who were slashed due to this bug. The proposer is the only Polkadot Ambassador in Finland and has been working voluntarily to establish a local community, organize events, and connect with influencers and journalists. They recently featured Polkadot in a Finnish-language podcast called Hopium, which received positive feedback and requesting a tip of 50 DOT for 10 hours of work as an incentive for community activation and media representation of Polkadot.

 event is deposited. If a call failed and the batch was interrupted, then the

 and the error of the failed call. If all were successful, then the `BatchCompleted`
 event is deposited.
