I think we have it correct this time, apologies for the invconvenience.

Hi, I'm Sophia, VR curator for The Canary Network X Polkadot Network Experience. And this, is M4.

Firstly, I wanted to thank our team, (aemonk, Mcbeaster and, Yung Beef 4.2) for successfully completing M3 one month ahead of schedule. Everyone involved kept on top of our project and continued to show their commitment in bring this closer to the finish.

We're now ready to move onto our next phase which can be read here along with a review of our most recent experience.

Thank you for your consideration and looking forward to receiving feedback.

While I like the idea of what was designed and I understand a lot of time goes into designing the necessary component and editing a video. I will vote Nay for this for the following reasons.

  1. This content has been uploaded to a Youtube channel with not that many views / engagement (except for the very early videos) and very few subscribers. This tells me there hasn't been much effort put into marketing this specific idea before.

  2. The asking amount is very high, this can definitely be achieved with less capital by hiring designers.
Check out these stats on Upwork:

"Rates charged by graphic designers on Upwork vary from $15 to $150 an hour, with an average rate of around $25 per hour. However, designers don't always bill hourly; it's also common for a designer or creative director to set a fixed price for the work, based on their understanding of your project requirements."

  1. The thumbnails are terrible (I'm not a designer but I know what works on Youtube) and I can guarantee you that you will struggle to get people to click on the actual video so they can learn about the Canary Network experience when the thumbnails look so simple. You have to find the fine line between click bait and reality and it has to be more attractive especially when we're talking about a VR experience!

Once again, this tells me there has been 0 effort from the creator to spend more time and creativity on the thumbnails.

I'd be happy to vote aye for this if you would re-consider the following:

  1. Re-working out your budget (Do you really need 12 people for this? I don't think so)
Graphic Design charging $100 an hour and being incapable of creating a proper thumbnail? Are they joking?

  2. Come up with a marketing plan to actually expose this experience to a wider audience.

  3. Improve all the thumbnails including the new videos with something more fancy showcasing a VR experience, AI, something more attractive for a user, see these thumbnails as good examples of colourful & attractive to click on for a similar niche: https://www.youtube.com/@Gamingwithmatteo311

Thanks and I hope you understand and so will the other voters before voting Aye for this.
