Encointer is determined to launch its "mainnet" as a common good parachain on Kusama. This proposal is the next step and covers the preparation tasks and operation expenses to prepare for the onboarding.

If you support this treasury proposal, you're also expressing your current support for Encointer to get a common good parachain slot:
* before slot 20 
* for 8 lease periods (Encointer communities grow slowly by design, so we need time to show impact)

Towards the end of our granted lease, the following shall be assessed to decide about extending the common good slot lease:
* Has Encointer implemented a viable solution with regard to its [whitepaper](https://arxiv.org/pdf/1912.12141.pdf)?
* Has a first pioneer community evolved into an active ecosystem where a growing number of participants is actively using Encointer currency?
* Has an integration with another parachain been demonstrated to provide sybil-defense?
* Is there an interest to launch more communities? How many communities have evolved and how active are they?
* Has the Encointer Association shown good governance and is there a plausible roadmap towards full decentralization?
