[Whitelisted Caller] Encointer runtime upgrade to 2.0.0

Usually, Encointer has been upgraded together with the other system chains. Lately, the dev team was focused around the Asset Hub Migration.

However, Encointer would like to propose to upgrade of its runtime to 2.0.0 too, as we have a fix that the would like to deploy in order to fully roll-out cross-chain stable coin treasuries.

Shouldn't there be a corresponding fellowship referendum for this whitelisted call to be executed?

Thanks a lot for your heads up. You are correct that this is still pending. There is an issue in the runtimes repository to do this ASAP: https://github.com/polkadot-fellows/runtimes/issues/1007.

Disclaimer: I am a Rank II fellowship member, so in theory I should be able to do this myself. However, we found out that I am only inducted on Polkadot, and not Kusama. We will follow up on that so that we can do this completely independent next time if needed.
