Sol-XCM | A typed interface for interoperability from Solidity
Sol-XCM project is a typed interface generator for Solidity. With Solidity contracts deployable on Kusama Hub—and soon on Polkadot Hub—we want to enable contracts to communicate with any part of the ecosystem, and even beyond it. Interoperability is the key difference when deploying a Solidity contract on Kusama Hub compared with other ecosystems. We should highlight this as much as possible and make it easy to use. Sol-XCM makes this possible by enabling interoperable Solidity contracts on Kusama Hub and, in the future, the Polkadot Hub.

One of the biggest advantages of deploying a Solidity contract on Kusama Hub—and, in the future, Polkadot Hub—is interoperability. We should use this competitive advantage to attract projects, and Sol-XCM makes that interoperability robust and easy to implement in Solidity contracts.
Saxemberg has voted NAY on the Kusama referendum 606. Sol-XCM | A typed interface for interoperability from Solidity. All core improvements to the sdk, sdk tooling and non-Kusama specific referenda with significant amounts should be submitted to Polkadot's Opengov.
@SAXEMBERG This is a new tool built on technology that is currently available only on Kusama.
We strongly believe this project is needed, and the sooner we have better tooling for smart contracts, the better. It does not make sense to reject this proposal solely because it might be a better fit for the Polkadot Treasury. It is more important to avoid wasting time than to debate whether it should be funded by the Polkadot Treasury instead.
We would appreciate it if you could cast your vote based on the proposal’s value, rather than on the idea that it might be better placed on Polkadot.
