Treasury Guardian On-Chain Demo

Dear community,
This referendum is part of the roadmap for the Treasury Guardian tool as outlined here.

This referendum contains 1 scheduled payout transaction to Mr. Bill Laboon. Should our demo be successful, this scheduled spend will first be delayed and then canceled (sorry Bill) with our tool.

Our project is about allowing milestone-based payouts at scale and with this Referendum we hope to showcase how that could work. With this tool we aim to improve treasury efficiency and get more eyes and involvement into Kusama and Polkadot OpenGov.

Give us a follow on X for latest updates on the project.

Dear Proposer,

Thank you for your proposal. Our first vote on this proposal is AYE.

The Small Spender track requires 50% participation and simple majority of non-abstain votes according to our voting policy v0.2, and any referendum in which the majority of members vote abstain receives an abstain vote. This proposal has received five aye and zero nay votes from ten available members. Below is a summary of our members' comments:

Voters approved the Treasury Guardian demo, citing its potential to advance milestone-based payouts and streamline treasury operations. They expressed interest in observing the tool's evolution and noted that the experiment was a critical step toward refining on-chain cancellation practices. A few voters mentioned that while the concept was promising, the user interface could benefit from additional improvements. Overall, they perceived the proposal as an innovative approach to enhance transparency and effectiveness in government spending, and they supported the trial phase as a valuable experiment in increasing community involvement and treasury efficiency on both Kusama and Polkadot platforms.

Note that although I am personally in favor of seeing this occur, I am voting "Abstain" because it is sending KSM to my account (even though the spend will be rejected if it goes through).
