Encointer has continued to deliver on a lean budget and requests retroactive funding for the first half of 2025.

The amount of the proposed spend is 61’592 CHF ≃ 76’713 USD for 6 mt

Main achievements:

  • New local community "PayNuq" bootstrapped in Zaria, Nigeria
  • Steady growth of Nyota to >100 active reputables and
    • mchezo lending groups among businesses show economic impact
  • Established democratic community treasury spending decisions in Nyota and PayNuq communities

I am and will always vote AYE on Encointer proposals. Aside from being the leanest operating team in the entire ecosystem and part of an important Swiss decentralised organisation fostering the use of Web3 technologies for the benefit of society, they are a true testament to the value of blockchain technology that does not fall into the usual gimmick. The Encointer project should be the posterchild for the entire ecosystem as a service providing a public good and really making a positive difference in people's lives.
