We are updating this video, but quick update, we adjusted the amount to the current market, we spend some time analyzing the market, so we could be on sync with the current state and be aligned with the community interests. This video is the final report from our previous proposal, and the last 3 minutes are the new proposal for this discussion, please, aknowledge that due to recent rises on KSM price, we want to discuss this, because this could be an artificial increment of the token and could be misleading to the interest of the treasury and execution of the teams asking currently for funds.

**E****xecutive Summary

**Escuela de DAOs is an initiative of GrowDAO, focused on blockchain education for organizations and Universities in Latin America. The second version of Escuela de DAOs focuses on offering digital courses to strengthen the knowledge and adoption of blockchain technology in companies and other organizations. In the first version, it managed to capture the interest of multiple individuals and organizations as shown in evidence in previous sections, which indicates a clear opportunity for growth.

Funding Goal: Ensure the operation, growth and scalability of the DAO School to attract new users and establish key partnerships.

**Background and Justification

**Based on enrollment data and feedback from the first version, we have identified that there is a growing interest in courses focused on the practical benefits and applicability of blockchain technology in organizations.

  • Proven demand: In just the preliminary phase of the second version, 12 people have spontaneously registered, demonstrating potential for expansion.
  • Growth opportunity: The DAO School seeks to educate and train a new group of students and professionals every month, with a focus on companies and entrepreneurs interested in emerging technologies.

Objectives of the Second Version

  1. Scale the educational offering through the creation of a monthly course, with a plan to offer three consecutive courses from January to March 2025.
  2. Expand the educational platform through strategic alliances and the integration of new interested students.
  3. Develop new alliances with public universities in Mexico, such as the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), to attract new students and strengthen educational outreach.

  1. Development of the Educational Platform
    Optimization of the platform (https://campus.growdao.network) to ensure a capacity of 20-30 monthly users.
    Preparation of specialized blockchain educational materials for organizations.

    **Establish agreements with universities and interested organizations, particularly with UAM in Mexico.
    Identify and prospect companies that wish to train their employees in blockchain.
  3. **Onboarding and Content Creation
    **Planning a monthly course starting in January 2025, with a goal of three cohorts by March.
    Integrate and train users on the GrowDAO platform.

Impact

The requested funding will allow:

  • Expansion of the reach to new students and organizations in Mexico and Latin America.
  • Scalability to accommodate a larger number of monthly users and a sustained growth of the community interested in blockchain.

Updates Weekend 23-24 Nov 2024

Kusama had a significant rise of about 50% increase, we liquidated nothing of our treasury, we hold because we know about liquidity in the ecosystem, we focus on building and onboarding, and what happens if our current proposal faces another round of price increase per KSM? (1166 KSM, 1 KSM = 18 USD) we compromise only to liquidate the necessary amount for our operations, and if the price goes up, we won’t liquidate massively.

The previous proposal was 800 KSM at 25 USD per KSM. Throughout the operation, the market price remained at about 18 USD per KSM, which was translated to a loss of the original salary per member, but we kept operating doing the e-learning platform, and working as usual with all the assets of the original proposal.

Our compromise is to help strive this ecosystem by being honest with any matter.

For the community worried about our focus for web3 educational content, our method implies to standout the capabilities of Kusama, Polkadot and Substrate (the last one particularly as a framework) while we teach about the vulnerabilities of other ecosystems, like bottle necks, multisig compromise, or high auctions fees due smart contract and protocol defencies, things that doesn't happen in Kusama nor Polkadot.
