Never heard of Polkaidentity. Who are you? Why should you be trusted to be a registrar? If you verify an account is a particular person (not a bot) and it is an imposter then scams might be facilitated. Expect chaos!!!
On the other hand. Kusama does expect chaos, and a bunch of accounts with fraudulent verification could certainly be chaotic. Kusama is here for teams to experiment and build reputation before moving to Polkadot. In order to build reputation you must first be allowed to try. If the worst happens and Polkaidentity does turn out to be providing faulty identity attestations then it shouldn't be too difficult to revoke all Polkaidentity associated ID's.
Usually the negative consequence of a faulty attestation would be loss of reputation, but in this case you have no reputation to lose, but you can't build a reputation if you don't get the chance. Kusama is the place to start that reputation building as a probationary registrar.

I'm not sure if this is a compliment. But you are right; we want to build our reputation, and PolkaIdentity is our first project.
That's precisely why, though we have opened the discussion on Polkadot, we have not started a referendum there.
We want to show you everything working on Kusama and offer reasonable and trustworthy service before we move on to Polkadot.
Also, we chose this project because we believe we have a lot to add here, and since we are requesting a leap of faith, you can see we have not requested any money from kusama/polkadot to make the project happen. Different from other referendum proposals that we can see in Polkadot.

Can you provide more information about who you are and your history in the Polkadot/Kusama ecosystem?
The account submitting this doesn't even have an identity, let alone a verified one.
You can consider @WinterStamp one of our team members for that purpose. We cannot verify the main account as it is a pure proxy. The pure proxy was created on Kusama, and for now, it is impossible to copy it to People Parachain so we can verify it.
