Hello there, I will be voting nay on this. I do think that the remark is slightly confusing because it gives the impression that it is AAG that is tipping Polkabeat, meanwhile AAG is merely PROPOSING a tip in favour of Polkabeat to be paid out by the Community treasury. It would be good if proponents could refrain from instrumentalising the Community treasury for their own publicity/marketing/promotional ends. Thank you.
AAG is a volunteer, community platform for governance discourse, examination, and open fumbling with new social tech.
Its aim is to publicize, market, and promote the governance model itself while providing a public forum for those attempting treasury funding.
This well deserved tip proposal was presented as an educational opportunity and the slightly confusing remark was decided Live and in the moment. In context the proposing is the the act of gratitude, not the reward.
As this weekly, live program is free and open to all, anyone is welcome and encouraged to join and shape the discourse.
