Hey Leemo, Naying this dt wrong extrinsic
treasury.proposeSpend -> treasury.spend
I guess that's what we get for doing it live :D Thanks for the feedback! Also I see HACN has re-issued it with the correct extrinsic hehe
Hello there,
I will be voting nay on this.
I do think that the remark is slightly confusing because it gives the impression that it is AAG that is tipping Polkabeat, meanwhile AAG is merely PROPOSING a tip in favour of Polkabeat to be paid out by the Community treasury.
It would be good if proponents could refrain from instrumentalising the Community treasury for their own publicity/marketing/promotional ends.
Thank you.
AAG is a volunteer, community platform for governance discourse, examination, and open fumbling with new social tech.
Its aim is to publicize, market, and promote the governance model itself while providing a public forum for those attempting treasury funding.
This well deserved tip proposal was presented as an educational opportunity and the slightly confusing remark was decided Live and in the moment. In context the proposing is the the act of gratitude, not the reward.
As this weekly, live program is free and open to all, anyone is welcome and encouraged to join and shape the discourse.
@447368856cec4afcae909c71d In that case, it would be good if AAG's volunteer educators could thoroughly educate themselves about the ins-and-out of on-chain Treasury processes before dispensing their lessons to the wider community. Web3 education isn't something that can be improvised in the spur of the moment for uninformed onlookers, even more so during a bear market.
uh oh...
Anyway, here's a thread of clips from this week where 9 governance users got to share their project and face scrutiny in front of a live audience for anyone interested.

Members of the Fellowship Collective involved in projects flagged by the OG tracker should provide a proper explanation, return the funds to the Treasury, or face expulsion.
Invarch failed to provide the first two, so Gabe, a founding member of the team, does not meet the ethical standards required to have a voice in the Fellowship.
