Kusama Spending Proposal - Educational Music Video, Polkadot and Kusama Networks protocols and dynamics by NibbleBits
Nibble bits is a creative duo from London, England with over a decade of Visual Effects experience on shows like Jungle Book, which they won an Academy Award for. They've also been honored to work alongside many amazing artists and projects like Ed Sheeran & Chance The Rapper’s music video, The Last of Us 2 trailer, Xbox Series X cinematic, Ridley Scott’s Hennessy short-film and brands such as Apple, Samsung, Heineken, amongst others. In reality though, ‘Nibble bits’ is just the lovechild of two artists making art outside the boundaries imposed by the commercial world.
Although the White Paper and other technical articles about Polkadot and Kusama protocols aim to educate in the understanding of this technology, it is hard for token holders to visualise how the protocol works in an integrated way - this project aims to provide one of the possible visual interpretations of the dynamics behind Polkadot and its elements. The intricacies of showcasing in detail how the Kusama and Polkadot protocols function adds multiple levels of complexities to consider, when designing a piece in conjunction with a preexisting piece of music.
This project should be understood as an experiment for educational purposes, playing with the interpretation of a track rhythm and the design chosen to represent the stages of the protocol processes in place, with the goal to understand Kusama's and Polkadot's architecture.
Nevertheless, the focus should primarily be an amazing looking music video with addictively compelling aesthetics that can be enjoyed as a piece in its own right.

This is a very interesting project, and very well done so far. Some notes:
Thanks & good luck!

An unsolicited(?) request for £121k GBP, to be paid in advance, to create a video. No strong case made for whether the polkadot ecosystem needs this. To be done properly 1) a proposal should be made to decide whether the community want a promotional video of this sort in general, noting the expected cost. 2) if yes, then this should be put out to tender, or a selection of artists approached to submit bids with full costs 3) bids voted on. 4) full payment done net 30, on receipt of deliverables.
