Dear Kusama council and treasury,

DeStore Network has been working diligently on what was proposed and approved in Motion 562 with the original budget, and we are very excited to continue building.

As you may be aware, we have recently implemented the Ship heroes warehouse management system and are currently testing the API plug-in, which has taken 6 months. In this time we have been working on incorporating extended reality (XR) tooling and resources to brands in the polkadot ecosystem; technologies that go past the original scope of the first proposal. Given that we have an approved hoodie design from the Web 3 foundation, improved tooling and a better final product it makes more sense to release a better product for the trial, one that screams web 3.0.

With the delays and additional features, we see the need for additional funding and time, to be able to complete the project and reach the standards we believe should be set for Web3 products.

The original funds allocated by the Kusama Council for Merchandise manufacturing and shipping from Motion 562 are still within our possession and ready to be used once we get the final QA /QC approval from the brand holder (Web 3 Foundation). The initial allocation for wages has been used as our sole form of income since the funding was granted and has been exhausted, but we still remain committed to the cause.

We are forging into reality how Polkadot DAOs can distribute phygital merchandise with a Digital Twin minted on their local chain infused with extended reality functionality providing improved utility and will attract newcomers to the ecosystem for the swag alone. Council
