Payout Bounty Curation Candidates
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the discussion around payout bounties. Several curator candidates have already expressed their interest and this post has the aim of collecting those candidacies in clear form.
Anyone interested in becoming a curator is invited to post their candidacy as a comment on this post in whatever form you see fit. It would be great to speak as to what you bring to the table, the time you are able to commit to the effort as well as possibly your expectation for remuneration.
The initial payout bounty will serve as a Proof of Concept around the idea. It makes sense to collect and include community feedback at every step of the way in order to make it the best it can be. Community is encouraged to provide feedback on the candidates.
Any feedback shared by experienced bounty curators is also much appreciated in order to guide the candidates.

Hello Gabe, I have been reviewing over the discussion this stemmed from. From what I have read so far, I like the idea and would be willing to be a curator so long as more information is put out. I already curate for the Moderation team bounty so am familiar with the process and could help out any other candidates who might not be familiar. To give a little background, I have been in the Dotsama ecosystem since 2020, and have been active in the community since 2021 as a moderator on the official servers and even had a short stint at Parity as an intern on 2022. For remuneration, this would pretty much be a full time job, so I think that something in the vicinity of 3000-4000 USD range would be acceptable, unless the time it takes is longer than I am thinking. These are just my initial thoughts, so please, if anyone has anything to add, lets discuss!
What would you appreciate more clarity on? Throwing your questions on the forum post linked above might be a great way to tackle those. It is likely others also have the same questions as you. ;)

Really excited to see this effort moving forward.
I have been actively involved in the eco for a year and half with a special interest in governance. Multiple projects have been launched by me to improve our governance systems. This includes the governance participation rewards project (Proof of Chaos) and the governance dashboard (currently integrating gov2).
I deeply appreciate the importance of governance involvement and my track record should be proof of this. I have not been afraid to voice my opinion even on the most controversial discussions. This often involved challenging opinions from some very established voices. My interests are aligned with the network as I have held onto most of the tokens received for the work above.
Time commitment: I am looking to commit 0.5-1h per project per day moving through this payout bounty. My maximum daily time commitment would be capped at 6h.
I look forward to providing the community with clear dashboards for the bounty activities and working with teams to help them succeed.
Expected remuneration: $60/hour
Any feedback/guidance from experienced curators is much appreciated.
A note on the recent accusations by Jay of this being an attempt to “grift authority”: You and everyone else that feels this way is encouraged to put up their own candidacy to compete with mine. We certainly don’t want “authority grifters” in this role. We should also encourage more payout bounties to be launched!
My interest regarding this effort is from the perspective of a token holder and I am definitely not adamant on being a curator for this bounty.
