6 Month Funding for Creadores Web3
Creadores Web3.
Educate a Generation of Content Creators for a Web3 Transformation.
English
This 6-month proposal is to renew funding for Creadores Web3, a group of content creators and users of the spanish-speaking community formed in WagMedia under Bounty 12.
There is a real need to train and educate a generation of competitive content creators who are native users of the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem.
With this proposal, our main objective is not only to continue reviewing and rewarding the creation of valuable content for the community.
We should not pay for the generation of "X number of pieces of content", but use the resources granted to this initiative, and all similar ones, to educate a generation of creators, real users of this technology, who can be competitive on the platforms they operate, all while they continue to generate valuable content for the future of a mature web3 ecosystem.
The work carried out by these initiatives and what all this new form of funding for content creation entails must be consolidated. We must educate a generation of users who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and insights in order to establish this new paradigm in content creation.
We must totally distinguish our methodology from the way of working of influencers and marketing agencies, which always end up influencing the message and objective of the content generated by the creators they support, resulting in pieces with commercial or speculative claims.
With the work carried out by Creadores Web3 and all similar groups in this early stage of the ecosystem, in addition to rewarding with tips the generation of valuable content by users who carry out this activity more sporadically, we must prepare users and teams who want to formalize a personal brand or a brand of a podcast, informative website, etc. so that they can be truly competitive, learn how to define their content series and how to give them visibility.

If I'm reading this right, LV, the goal is to focus heavily on 2-5 native brands that have already been working within Wag Media's Bounty 12, and to really develop them as professionals to better onboarded native Spanish communities with group marketing. Additionally, you'll be maintaining the systems of Bounty 12 in case new participants want to begin their content creation journey or translation work, though the focus has shifted towards more original content creation. To me, this is a very different proposal than the other ones that have gone through. I would suggest breaking out the direction work with the content creation work because it is difficult for me to understand 35 hours a week only on direction, so I have to assume that includes creating your own content? If this is not the case, maybe breaking out the hours would help me understand. Are you included in the content creation categories? Additionally, most other proposals use the 7 day moving average, which because of the recent bullish movements, shifting it to 30 days at this stage might cause some criticism. Overall this is an interesting proposal but I think emphasis on how this is different in a very clear way (within the first parts of your proposal) would help people measure this proposal accurately.
Thank you very much for the review Pnin! Absolutely true in everything you say. Your comment is very helpful.
About the time that I am going to dedicate, 35h/week, I will try to better explain all the tasks that I will carry out, because you are right in what you state, my intention was to include in those 35 hours not only the tasks of directing the unit, review content, etc. but also:
Management of the translations that have been made and will be made into Spanish (if possible, in all cases, collaborate openly with other groups that have translated articles into Spanish to provide them with the same support and optimize this task). The plan that I want to apply is to gather all these translations in a single domain of a website in Spanish in order to monitor its positioning in Google. It will be somewhat tedious at first as I have to optimize the web where this task will be worked on, but later it will take less time as I only have to monitor the results and upload new translations or optimize others.
Write a series of guides sharing good practices to create content for the internet, especially focusing on SEO for youtube and blogs. All with specific examples, most related to this ecosystem. I will publish them in English and Spanish so that they can also be used by other groups of creators. In any case, this task will not occupy me too much time, since it will be something punctual.
Manage the profiles of Creadores Web3 (twitter & youtube). I cannot say a specific time for this task, since depending on the evolution of the group and its activity, we may dedicate more or less hours to it. Many variables enter into this task. In any case, here I do not want to dedicate more than 5 hours a week to this part, since in the end the objective is that it is only a support for the creators of the group and one more communication channel with the community to share announcements of this initiative.
Within those 35 hours, the series of original content that I generate about the ecosystem will be included, no piece of original content that I generate in Spanish will receive tips under this budget. My plan is to dedicate more and more time to this task as we complete the previous ones mentioned.
In the end I have not made a complete breakdown within the category of "Unit Direction" because the hours dedicated each week to each task will vary greatly as we complete objectives. And new activities can always arise! Experiment and evolve!
My innocent mistake, I was convinced that the usual thing was to use the 30 day moving average reference XD.
And about the management of original content creators. In the end, distributing rewards to all users who generate valuable content in the ecosystem continues to be the work from which everything starts. But, in addition to supporting those who generate content sporadically, it seems to me an important piece to give more advanced support to users and teams who want to formalize a personal brand or brand of their podcast, website , etc. so that they can be totally self-sufficient at some point. Talk to the creators, find out what their goals and needs are, and give personalized support to each one. What I will mainly do is help them define series of content to create under their brand and give advice on marketing and SEO for them.
An important detail is that the budget specified for each category of creators is an estimate, although we will try to keep it as close as possible to the figures and consequent results exposed in the budget breakdown. The total allocated to original content, $43,500, will not vary and will be distributed among the categories explained based on the needs of the group. By this I mean that we could adapt these estimates, for example, in the case that many more users arise creating content and who do not explicitly seek to work a YouTube channel or a blog in a more professional way.
In the end I have extended a bit, my apologies for the length of my answer XD. Thank you very much again for your review Pnin!
As all follow-up of bounty 12, I will nay this proposal for the same reason
It was brought to my attention ser that you are spamming this on multiple proposals (so i'm spamming this reply). It would be good for you to take the time to read the proposals before perpetuating these false and nonsense accusations. 😆 I'll let the proposer speak to any of the others (even if their time would be wasted) but I would clarify that there is absolutely no overlap with The Kusamarian project. Not only is this work completely separate in scope, structure, and outcome, LV doesn't even work for The Kusamarian. Truly, a shameful addition to the discourse bLD 😛
