Learneasy.app is an innovative education platform that allows anyone to create and participate in workshops related to various topics in the Kusama ecosystem. The platform offers live, real-time audio and video calls. The platform is designed to promote learning, knowledge-sharing, and community-building in the Kusama ecosystem. We are looking for support to finish the development and bring the platform to the community.
Here's a list of features for Learneasy.app:
- Workshops creation: Anyone can create courses and lessons on various topics in the kusama ecosystem.
- Workshop participation: Users can browse and participate in workshops created by others. Using the actual tech KSM.
- Real-time audio and video calls: Live courses include integrated real-time audio and video calls, making it possible to learn and interact with instructors and other students in real-time.
- Quizzes: After completing a course/workshop, students can take a quiz or test to earn a certification NFT as proof of their knowledge or participation.
- User roles: Users can register as a student or instructor, each with different permissions and capabilities.

You list this e-mail address in your proposal thepileapp@pronto.me but there is no MX record for that domain. Is the e-mail address supposed to be thepileapp@proton.me instead?
This is a well-thought initiative that would work to support participants’ creating and sharing custom-made resources for real-life side events and online meetups. As a content-agnostic platform, the Pile app could become a very much-needed piece of education infrastructure for the ecosystem.
Although, the platform's name might need to be revised to avoid unfortunate associations/connotations in English and improve branding. 😅
A few questions:
- How much are you requesting for funding?
The breakdown of the costs doesn’t give a clear picture of what you want from the Treasury. Please state if you are looking to get retroactive funding for the Research & Planning + Development & Testing work completed.
- Which exact milestones will be covered by these funds and under which payment conditions?
The Pile app is still looking for team members, so it is important to be realistic about the work that can be done and schedule the Treasury disbursements accordingly. Also, it would help to have information about the background/achievements of the Project/Product manager.
- What is the link between this app and your application for 1KV?
Using 50% of the funds obtained for an education platform to run a validator is a bit strange, given that there are pressing costs to be met to build the platform in first instance.
- Is this app going to be mobile-friendly?
Most crypto users in the developing world use smartphones for their operations, so this might be a necessary step to drive the real-world adoption of this app from the get-go.
- Do you have more concrete pointers for your Risk management plan?
In current market conditions, crypto users are bound to take the security of their assets and data very seriously. It is important that this aspect is reflected in your proposal.
I look forward to your answers. Thanks for your time! 🙏🏿
