Hey, people! My name is Gabriel Nunes and I'm the organizer of Sh*ft Festival, an incredible festival of innovation, creativity, society and future that we make here in Brazil.

We became aware of Kusama through the work of the Head Ambassador for Portuguese, Lauro Gripa, as he participated in the first edition of Sh*ft Festival back in 2019.

Since then, we got to learn more about Kusama and its radical innovation value proposition. Since our festival is focused on innovation, we think it makes a lot of sense to use the novelty of the onchain governance and request to Kusama treasury to sponsor the event. We are offering some benefits to Kusama, both for everyone that can participate in the physical event, but also for anyone that can't go but wants to experience the content.

For instance, we are inviting Lauro Gripa again, this time to give a presentation on Web3 with focus on Kusama's radical innovation. We also invited him to host a roundtable about the so-called metaverse, separating what's real from what's just empty hype. Both the presentation and the roundtable will be recorded and made available to everyone in high-definition with subtitles in English. Finally, if this proposal goes through we will try to bring Gil Futurível to the event as well with an additional spending proposal of partnership with Kusama Society using Motion 186.
