Latin America is a region with a large number of developers with worldwide potential in both web2 and web3. We propose a hackathon in Latin America to unite this potential and promote the Substrate technology.

The Latin America Hackathon will be held online and executed during eight weeks, from 26 September to 19 November 2022 (6 days Pre hackathon, 6 weeks hackathon and 10 days for judging period).

This proposal goals are:

To promote Substrate as an open source framework for developers in Latin America for the Polkadot Ecosystem“.”

To give visibility to Latin American projects and developers

To support developers in Latin America “when going through the Substrate learning curve, with education, resources and connections in the ecosystem’’
