Funding Governance Participation Rewards
It has now been 4 months since we kicked off the Governance Participation Rewards Project and the voter shelves are filling up nicely!
The impact is clear:
In terms of participating wallets we have seen a staggering 700% increase.
In terms of turnout % (participating KSM) we have seen a 100% increase (“community” votes without whale wallets participating).
I am submitting this proposal to cover past operational expenses that we have not been able to cover through our revenues, as well as funding our website (includes a quiz + vote module) and miscellaneous related side projects.
I would appreciate it if you took a moment to look at our proposal in detail.
I am happy to take any questions and look forward to your feedback.

I think that this has been a great project to foster governance participation without simply paying people. It's also something very fun and in keeping with the spirit of Kusama. In theory I'd approve of this. But I haven't had a chance yet to go through the proposal in detail, so as we say here in Kusama-land, "no promises". =)
Thank you Bill for your continued support! I would appreciate feedback on the actual proposal too if you find the time to look at it in more detail ;).
Hi GJaeger! Thank you for posting this and for the detailed description of the work you have done so far on the project management side of things. This experiment has shown good results on the voting turnout numbers. I am wondering if you have wireframes to share to understand the purpose of the website and design itself?
Thanks for your comment @rrtti-5220.
We have a live WIP Website that should give you an idea.
Most of the content is currently fillers and the buttons simply placeholders.
On the live version the only "real" content is the the stats on the main page which are updated in real time.
Please do check out the "vote" tab to see the basics of how we are looking to integrate the quizzes and voting itself. This link will also bring you there.
