I think your proposal is very interesting! We are starting to have more tools like sub.id which give us better overviews over our wallets but I think that your analytical tool can definitely complement the existing stuff that we have. Something that I really like about your tool is that it would allow anyone to see with which wallets a given wallet transacts (deposit and withdrawals). Right now we have to manually follow the paper trail but it would be cool for transparency purposes to see where the money ends up and comes from so I think your tool could offer some more transparency here, which is great!

Here are some concerns I have with your proposal:

Who will actually build it? Are you the developer? If not, who is? Perhaps you can share a GitHub here or something for credibility reasons.

Almost half of the budget is allocated to Marketing and Team Management. I feel like there is not enough of a breakdown with these two points. What exactly do you mean with partnerships + nfts? how does this tie in with your proposal. Is it even necessary? Is social media marketing necessary for this project? In my eyes a reddit post, and this proposal are already enough to reach the kusama audience. Word of mouth will do the rest. Who is the team that has to be managed? What does Team Management entail exactly?

Would be awesome if you could clarify those points. On a side note, I am happy to help out should you be in need of an extra dev.

Exactly, just trying to add more data points on how we are spending our funds. As crypto is adopted by the mainstream over the next 5 years I definitely think tools like these will be extremely useful for regular people / people who don't want to sift through thousands of txns 😂.

I agree on your point as well, this tool could also have utility in other areas, for example in fraud trying to get a view of what a wallet is doing and whether it is acting as it says it is.

Marketing Budget ?

I think if we do not get the marketing right in the beginning then we are stuck with a website that no one uses. So instead of word of mouth which would be hard to do across a multi billion dollar network. We plan on having a very big impact on day one, (somewhat of a grand opening event).

Our plan is :

Various youtube influencers to tell their users about our opening

Running banners on websites in the community

Making 500 custom NFT’s to airdrop, credit to Raul for this idea, to act as a first time incentive on the site.

A Twitter campaign to bootstrap users and get the word out.

Then an opening of the site where users can get these NFT’s and first introduce them to our site.

I do not think a reddit post would do us justice in the beginning, look at us right now. I have posted this proposal on the biggest platform for the Kusama community. I so far have had 2 likes (one of them was me) and also one comment kindly from yourself.

Therefore marketing for us will be extremely important for the site's success. And thus even though this budget takes up quite a lot of our overall budget it is probably one of the most important if not thee.

Who will build it?

I myself can code JS, Python, HTML, CSS and know how to configure API’s and databases etc. So I will be taking a role in this project as someone to help lookover the whole process and be able to glue it all together.

I am planning to create this with my friend ‘Nitro’ who has a similar coding ability to me. We both don't have much to our names yet, other than crypto analytical bots, trading bots, dice games, calculators and basic websites. So this will be our first real project, go big or go home right ! But we both have over 13+ years combined experience in crypto so formatting this data is second nature to us as we have been both doing this manually on our own wallets for a while !

We are outsourcing the actual design and creation of NFT’s, the reason why it's quite a large quote as we are not doing it.

Both me and nitro are pretty well connected with lots of devs so if we get stuck an experienced founder is only a message away.

Management Budget ?

As this analytical tool will be eventually split across 18 different networks which is growing by every parachain auction, the management budget is for us the team as an extra incentive to build this website. As we have no business model, not selling/doxing users data on or running ads, this will be our source of profit for us running the site.

So this budget will entail our hard work creating this and will cover us adding new networks as they join the ecosystem.
