Proposal for funding production of the week-daily SER, Have ya’ Heard? Community News Digest
Hi I’m Jay Chrawnna and I’ve been writing and producing educational, cultural, and news digest videos for the Dotsama community since June 11, 2021 — Now 100 videos across 5 series. Cumulatively this equates to 57,687 views and 3118 watch hours.
The following proposal seeks funding for the ongoing production and development of SER, Have ya’ Heard? (formally Slot Election Reflection) - A week-daily broadcast covering Dotsama news, culture, interviews, tutorials, and trends all with sources displayed on screen and linked in the description.
Funds will cover existing production costs, new marketing initiatives, further development, and expanded community involvement.

Hi Jay, Thank you for submitting this draft for community review. With reference to section 7 of the document I see that it has already received good feedback. The document covers all of the salient points and provides a good breakdown of the total cost. On a personal note, your video digests are in my opinion a staple in the community. It has helped me to keep abreast of developments with Parachain projects and community initiatives. I do hope that the rest of the community and later the council also share my view. Helping you is helping the ecosystem! You have a thumbs up from me! Kind Regards, Will | Paradox
Jay, I'm a huge fan of "Ser, Have ya' Heard" and of all of the incredible video you have created on a myriad of topics that puzzle newcomers and veterans of Dotsama alike. I use your videos constantly to help people who come to me with questions, and I learn a ton from them myself too. The proposal looks great to me, it is very detailed and transparent and is exactly the type of initiative I personally would like to see the Treasury fund. Big thumps up from me, thank you for all of your hard work and hope you get all of the resources you need to keep making amazing content for the Dotsama community!
